About The Winery

Country: China
Region:
Xinjiang

Tucked away in the heart of China’s Turpan Valley, Xinjiang, Puchang Vineyard is a true desert oasis. Spanning around 100 hectares, the estate yields up to 130,000 bottles annually. Originally founded in 1975, Puchang was given new life in 2008 when Hong Kong entrepreneur Mr. K.K. Cheung acquired it and steered it toward becoming one of China’s pioneering organic wineries.

Puchang is deeply committed to organic viticulture, blending meticulous care with high standards in both vineyard and cellar. It champions unique local grape varieties that express the distinct terroir of Xinjiang. The region’s arid, pest-resistant climate further supports its organic approach. Internationally recognised, Puchang holds ECOCERT organic certification, reflecting its dedication to quality and sustainability.
