About The Winery

Country: France
Region:
Burgundy

Located in the village of Davayé in the Mâconnais, Domaine des Deux Roches is a collaboration between Jean-Luc Terrier and Christian Collovray. Their 50 hectares of vineyards stretch between the iconic escarpments of Solutré and Vergisson, highlighting the rich diversity of the region's terroirs. Childhood friends from winemaking families, Jean-Luc and Christian have long shared a passion for crafting wines of exceptional quality. In 2017, they achieved High Environmental Certification and are now transitioning toward organic farming. Building on the success of Deux Roches, they have also expanded with a second estate in Altugnac, Languedoc. From the fresh, stainless steel–fermented Bourgogne Blanc Tradition to the richer, more textured Saint-Véran, their wines represent some of the finest expressions of the Mâconnais.

Winemaking

The grapes are harvested and gently pressed using pneumatic presses to preserve their aromatic finesse. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with malolactic fermentation depending on the vintage. The wine is aged on fine lees until spring, enhancing its texture and complexity.
