About The Winery

Country: France
Region: Bordeaux

Since 1783, the estate has been crafting exceptional wines in Valeyrac, near the mouth of the Gironde estuary. The vineyard is evenly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, reflecting a balanced approach to Bordeaux varietals. The nearby river plays a key role in moderating temperature and humidity, fostering a slow and even ripening of the grapes.

After fermentation in a combination of stainless steel and concrete vats, the wine is aged for one year in oak barrels, allowing it to develop complexity and depth.

Climate: Proximity to the River Gironde ensures a balanced humidity and temperature throughout the year

Terroir: The soil comprises of stone deposits with sand and clay known as “croupes” or “crests”

Ageing: Fermented in both steel and concrete vats, the wine is then matured for a year in traditional French oak barrels
