About The Winery
Soil: Schist Climate: Mediterranean - very low annual rainfall, hot, dry summers.
Varieties: A blend of varieties from the old vineyard plots at Quinta da Côrte.
Weather Data: An atypical year in terms of climate, with a cold and dry winter, followed by an unusually hot and dry spring and summer, resulting in slower ripening.
Vinification: In traditional granite "lagares" with foot treading. Aged in old 600L barrels for 7 years.
Service Temperature: 12-15 °C Production: 2,188 bottles of 75 cl
Keeping: 20 years or more if stored in proper conditions.
