La Mozza is a modern Tuscan estate located in the heart of the Maremma, a coastal region known for its wild beauty and ideal conditions for bold, expressive red wines. Founded by three influential figures in the food and wine world, the domaine was created with the vision of producing wines that respect tradition while embracing innovation.
The estate spans approximately 36 hectares (89 acres) of vineyards planted primarily with Sangiovese, the grape behind the renowned Morellino di Scansano, along with Syrah, Alicante Bouschet, Ciliegiolo, and Colorino. The goal at La Mozza is to elevate the Morellino denomination and express the full potential of Maremma’s diverse terroir.
