About The Winery
Grape Varietals & Region: A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot from the Medoc region of Bordeaux, France. The soil comprises of stone deposits with sand and clay known as “croupes” or “crests”
Since 1783, the estate has been crafting exceptional wines in Valeyrac, near the mouth of the Gironde estuary. The vineyard is evenly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, reflecting a balanced approach to Bordeaux varietals. The nearby river plays a key role in moderating temperature and humidity, fostering a slow and even ripening of the grapes.
Winemaking Process: After fermentation in a combination of stainless steel and concrete vats, the wine is aged for one year in oak barrels, allowing it to develop complexity and depth.
