Bodegas Saura 'Los Caballos del Vino' is a tribute to history and tradition, hailing from high-altitude vineyards of Murcia in Spain. The wine takes its name from the legendary "Wine Horses" festival in Caravaca de la Cruz, a tradition born from the 13th-century tale of Knights Templar countering a siege by smuggling wine on horseback to the thirsty townsfolk. Composed of 100% Monastrell (Mourvedre/Mataro) grown on ancient limestone soils, this bottle captures the essence of the Mediterranean mountains, untamed, authentic, and deeply rooted in the land.
